In the 1970s, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the late prime minister of Pakistan founded the Cadet College Razmak during his visit to the North Waziristan agency. The decision of a new Cadet College for the benefit of the Boys of all the Tribal Areas. In 1978, the College started functioning in Razmak. The scenery of Razmak is beautiful in summer as well as in winter. The mountains are covered with snow. The summer season is also very pleasant. Razmak was a British Army Station before independence. It was called “Little London”. The college initially had a batch of 100 cadets in March 1978.

HOUSES:

The college is divided into six houses.

1. GHAZALI HOUSE:

Ghazali House is the seniormost house of the College, established in 1978, and is named after the great Muslim philosopher “Imam Ghazali”.

2. BILAL HOUSE:

Bilal house is named after the great companion of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) “Bilal Habshi”. This is the second seniormost house of the College established in 1978.

3. JINNAH HOUSE:

Jinnah House named after the Quaid-e-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the house is established in March 1979.

4. BABAR HOUSE:

Babar House is named after the late Interior Minister Nasir Ullah Babar, the one who suggested the late Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto establish Cadet College in Razmak.

5. ABDALI HOUSE:

Abdali House is the fifth house of Cadet College Razmak in seniority and is named after the great Afghan Warrior Ahmad Shah Abdali. The Motto of the house is “Live with honor”.

6. KHUSHHAL HOUSE:

Khushhal House was established in 1983 and was named after the great warrior and poet of Pashto Khushhal Khan Khattak. It is the juniormost house of the college.

ADMISSIONS:

The Cadet College Razmak offers admission from Class 8th to SSC to Intermediate (FSC). The admission is purely on a merit basis. The admission Forms may be obtained from the College Office or online.

Admission Test Interview:

Written tests are conducted simultaneously in the following Cities.

Peshawar
Mardan
Nowshera
Kohat
Bannu
Dera Ismail Khan
The interview was taken only In Peshawar.

The candidate has to clear the written test and should pass the interview.

The applicant should be medically fit.

EXTRA CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

The cadets have to participate in different types of sports and activities. The college has participated in and won many inter-college competitions.

College Mess:

The college has a new building of Cadet Mess which has a space of approximately 800 students at one time.

Auditorium:

The college has also an Auditorium (Allama Iqbal Hall) where debates, Speeches, and Exams are held.

Medical Facilities :

The college has a Mini Hospital (RMO). College RMO consists of 30 Beds. The college has 1 MBBS Doctor. The college has also 1 Ambulance.

The college has a large and Beautiful Mosque.

The college has a separate Science Block which consists of a Biology Lab, Physics Lab, and Chemistry Lab. Students can perform their practical work in the science Block.

3. Computer Lab:

The college has a big computer Lab consisting of 90 laptops. Students can use this laptop in free time to gain some study about Information Technology(IT).
