1500 prize bond list 2023
Currently, the Rs. 1500 denomination of the National Prize Bond is the biggest one. As the Rs. 7500/-, Rs. 15000, Rs. 25000/- and Rs. 40000 National prize bonds have been demonetized. The government of Pakistan with the collaboration of the State Bank of Pakistan, Banking Sevices Corporation of Pakistan, and National Savings Pakistan has introduced the Premium Prize Bonds of Rs. 100,000/-, Rs. 40,000/-, and Rs. 25,000/-. Although, the Rs. 100,000/- denomination of the Premium Prize Bond is not in circulation yet it is expected that soon this bond will be issued to the public.
Still, people are reluctant to buy the Premium Prize Bonds because of many of the factors. It has less number of prizes, and secondly, they bear some interest which is not liked or considered good by the Pakistani community.
Besides these National Prize Bonds and Premium Prize Bonds, the Central Directorate of National Savings is out to introduce Digital Prize Bonds. These prize bonds will be purchased and sold digitally. Their prize money will be credited to the claimant’s account directly without visiting any branch of the State Bank of Pakistan, Banking Services Corporation, or National Savings.
It should be noted that the prize bond schemes are a kind of savings. it should not be considered an investment.
