QUALIFICATION:
Graduate from a recognized University.
AGE LIMIT:
Minimum (21) years and Maximum (30) years and in case of a person already in service of the Balochistan Police shall be 40 years.
GENDER:
Both Male and Female Citizens of Pakistan, Local/ Domicile residents of Balochistan are eligible.
Physical Standard for Male:
Minimum Height 5′.5″. Chest Measurement – 33″ x 34
Physical Standard for Females:
Minimum Height 5′.
Note: Those Candidates who do not fulfill the condition of Height are not Eligible. condition of Height/Chest are not Eligible
Note:-
In the light of powers conferred to BPSC through Notification dated 21st Mach, 2023, the combined competitive exam would be conducted by this Commission for the posts of Assistant Commissioner (BCS/B-17) and Section Officer (BSS/B-17) and Deputy Superintendent of Police (B-17), therefore, those candidates who had already applied for the posts of Assistant Commissioner (BCS/B-17) and Section Officer (BSS/B-17) and want to apply for the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (B-17) are directed to keep/choose the same subjects (Compulsory and Optional) as already mentioned by them for the post of Assistant Commissioner (BCS/B-17) and Section Officer (BSS/B-17). No change in subjects (Optional and Compulsory) will be allowed.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
(i) Age will be calculated on the closing date for receipt of applications.
(ii) LOCAL/ DOMICILE CERTIFICATE: The candidate should submit a local/domicile certificate district. In the case of in-service candidates, the local/domicile certificate endorsed in the service record of his of department will be accepted.
(iii) The Government reserves the right not to fill any vacancy or to fill more or less than the number of vacancies announced by the Commission.
(iv) ZONAL ALLOCATION: The zonal allocation of vacancies has been made in accordance with the Government of Balochistan’s Recruitment Policy of 1991.
(v) ELIGIBILITY: Eligibility of the candidates in terms of Recruitment Rules and the advertised conditions shall be determined after the conduct of the Competitive Examination. On detailed scrutiny of the applications, if they are found ineligible, their candidatures will be canceled irrespective of the fact whether they have appeared in the examination or even qualified therein. On rejection of the application of candidates on the basis of their ineligibility, the Commission would inform the applicants. The candidates should, therefore, make sure before applying that they are eligible in all respects for the post they have applied for.
(vi) VIVA-VOCE TEST: The written examination qualified candidates will be called for Viva Voce Test and the same would be containing the following: CURRENT AFFAIRS: For the last one or two months, important happening/ issues which are highlighted in Press/ Electronic Media.
(vii) GENERAL KNOWLEDGE: Related to Balochistan, Pakistan, and International ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS STUDIES: Islamic questions regarding day-to-day issues as Muslims and the Period of Khulafa-e-Rashideen. However, a candidate belonging to another religion would be asked questions according to his religion.
PAKISTAN STUDIES: From 1857-Till-date. (vii) The applicants who desire to submit their applications in this Office by hand are required to submit the one-page application form along with five recently attested photographs
(viii) The candidates who apply online/submit their application form by hand are required to fill out the application form carefully. Incorrect/ suppressed information in various columns of the application form will render a candidate to be disqualified.
EXAMINATION FEE:

The candidates should deposit the Examination Fee Rs.1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) for the above post in the State Bank/ National Bank or Government Treasury only in the Province of Balochistan on prescribed provincial (green color) Challan Form under the Head “C-02101-Organ of State Examination Fee RECEIPTBPSC” with incorporating the relevant RCO/District-wise Code in Challan. The RCO/District-wise code is available on the official website of this commission i.e. www.bpsc.gob.pk
Intending candidates may apply online up to 26th June 2023 and for further details visit the BPSC’s Website. However, those applicants who do not have access to an internet facility are allowed to submit their applications by hand or by post before the closing date mentioned above.
TESTIMONIALS:
The candidates who qualify for the written portion of the competitive exam would require to submit the following documents soon after the announcement of the result.
- Duly verified copies of Matriculation to Final Academic Qualification Certificates/ Degrees along with Detail Marks Certificates from the concerned Board/ University.
- Duly verified copy of Local/ Domicile Certificate from the competent authority.
- Attested copy of Computerized National Identity Card.
- Original Treasury Challan of Examination Fee Rs.1000/- for the post (duly deposited) along with two photocopies.
- Five latest photographs (duly attested), bearing the name and parentage of the candidates.
- Three Character Certificates “one from Head of Educational Institution last attended and two from different gazetted Officers not related to the applicant” (for non-serving candidates).
- Departmental Permission Certificate from the competent authority (for in-service candidates).
