What the live information showed
Multan International Airport’s public schedule showed a South Air service from Quetta as Expected later today. A separate flight tracker listed South Air SQB924 from Quetta to Multan as scheduled but without an actual departure time. Because flight numbers and timings shown by different services were not fully consistent, passengers should treat the airline’s own booking communication and airport display as controlling.
How to confirm before travelling to Quetta Airport
- Check the SMS, email or WhatsApp number entered in the reservation.
- Contact South Air’s published 24-hour customer-care number: 051-111-222-999.
- Ask the booking agent to check the live reservation status, not only the original ticket.
- Confirm whether the flight is cancelled, delayed, rescheduled or operating under a changed number.
- Request written confirmation if you are offered rebooking or a refund.
If South Air confirms cancellation
Ask whether the airline will move the booking to the next available Quetta–Multan flight, provide a refund or offer another permitted option. Keep the ticket, payment receipt, cancellation message and all correspondence. If a travel agent issued the ticket, the refund may have to be processed through that agent.
Do not rely on an old screenshot
Flight status can change quickly because of operational, technical or weather conditions. A screenshot shared in a group may refer to a different flight number or date. Verify the passenger name record and travel date directly.
Alternative travel from Quetta to Multan
If urgent travel cannot wait for the next flight, compare coach and private-car options. Ask for the total Quetta-to-Multan fare, departure point, route, journey estimate, luggage allowance, cancellation terms and whether the quoted price is per seat or for a complete vehicle. Do not send advance payment to an unverified account.
Update policy: This page will require revision when South Air or the airport publishes a definitive final status. Shalkot is an independent information website and is not the airline, airport or booking agent.
