Many BPSC and Government of Balochistan vacancies allocate posts by zone, district or provincial quota. A candidate’s local/domicile certificate can therefore affect eligibility even when the academic qualification is correct.

Read the advertisement’s exact condition
Check whether the vacancy requires Balochistan domicile, a specific district local certificate or eligibility under a named zone. Do not assume that residence, CNIC address or a utility bill replaces the required certificate.
Match your personal information
Your name, parent or spouse information, district and identifying details should be consistent across the CNIC, application and certificate. Resolve spelling or district discrepancies before the deadline where possible.
Married female candidates
BPSC advertisements commonly explain that a married woman who is not already in government service and applies on the basis of her husband’s local/domicile may need the husband’s certificate containing her name. Always follow the wording in the current advertisement.
Serving government employees
For an in-service applicant, the accepted domicile position and departmental permission can depend on the official service record and current recruitment rules. Obtain the required permission instead of assuming the online form alone is sufficient.
Prepare for document scrutiny
Keep original certificates and clear verified copies ready. BPSC can assess detailed eligibility after a test and cancel candidature if the documents do not support the application. Passing a screening test does not correct an eligibility defect.
Before paying an application fee
- Confirm the correct district or zone.
- Confirm the certificate is valid and readable.
- Check qualification and experience separately.
- Review age on the advertised calculation date.
- Save the advertisement that governed your application.
This page explains common checks and is not a certificate-issuing service. Contact the responsible district administration or BPSC for an official determination in an unusual case.
