Position Available For The Post Of Deputy / Program Officer Jobs in Punjab
The Government of Pakistan has received a loan, Credit No.6243-PK from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of the Punjab Cities Program (PCP), being implemented through the Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC). The program is to strengthen the performance of participating urban Local Governments in urban management and service delivery. Under the program, an Ilead Office and three Regional Offices are established at Gujranwala, Faisalabad, and Khanewal to provide technical support to Municipal Committees. PMDFC is seeking the services of the following professionals for the Punjab Cities Program (PCP):
1. Program Officer (Contract Management) (01 Post-Lahore Based)
Qualification
16 years of education or a higher degree in Engineering from HEC recognized University.
Experience
- Minimum eight (08) years of post-qualification experience for 16 years of education or five (05) years for at least 17 Years of education at national and international levels in the relevant field of civil engineering particularly infrastructure projects.
- Experience in working in complex environments and large infrastructure and/or civil works.
- Ability to address and manage all aspects of monitoring construction (law and knowledge of construction contracts, construction information technologies, and follow-up).
- Experience in managing and supervising medium to large-scale construction works in the public sector
- Working experience in the area of preparation, implementation, and monitoring of technical / construction projects; methodological and calculation skills
- Knowledge and Experience of Foreign Funded Projects rules, procedures, and regulations would be an added advantage.

2. Program Officer (Infrastructure Development) (01 Post-Gujranwala Based)
Qualification
16 Years of education or a higher degree in Civil Engineering from HEC recognized University.
Experience
Minimum eight (08) years of post-qualification experience for 16 years of education or five (05) years for at least 17 years of education related to planning. designing and supervising infrastructure development projects and operation & maintenance of municipal services infrastructure.

3. Deputy Program Officers (Institutional Strengthening) (01 Post-Lahore Based)
Qualification
16 years of education or higher degree in Economics/ Business Economics! KoBusiness/Public Administration from an HEC recognized Institute.
Experience
Minimum four (04) years of post-qualification relevant experience and better understanding of planning and development of capacity building initiatives and should have good analytical skills. Working knowledge of Local Governments Systems will be an added advantage.

4. Deputy Program Officer (Environmental & Social Management) (01 Post- Faisalabad Based)
Qualification
16 Years of education or higher degree in Environmental Engineering/ Sciences from a HEC-recognized university.
Experience
Minimum four (04) years of post-qualification experience of professional and technical experience with an increasing level of responsibility in environmental analysis. Must have demonstrated experience in developing IEES, EIAs, and EMMPs required under public sector environmental regulations. Experience in preparing Social Assessment Reports (SAR), Social Management Plans (SMPs), and Resettlement & Rehabilitation Action Plans (RAPs) as required in compliance with ESF. Working knowledge of Local Government Systems and regulatory frameworks will be an added advantage.
