About SBP: Join the dynamic team at the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the nation’s central bank, where they are currently seeking young, talented, and energetic individuals to join their Statistical Officers Training Scheme. Eligibility Criteria:

Education:

• Master’s, Bachelor’s, or equivalent degree with 16 years of education in statistics, actuarial sciences, or data sciences.
• Minimum 60% marks, or equivalent GPA, from HEC-recognized Pakistani institutions.
• An equivalence certificate is required for foreign degrees.

Batches graduating on June 30, 2024, may apply with provisional transcripts (subject to proof of 16 years of education) and the condition to clear the final examination on the first attempt.

Age:

• Maximum 26 years as of the date of the newspaper advertisement (March 10, 2024).
• The age limit is relaxed by three years for females, transgender persons, minorities, and candidates from Baluchistan, Azad Jammu Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, and FATA areas.

Application and Testing Procedure:

• Interested candidates must apply online at https://career.sbp.org.pk/login.
• Deadline for applications: March 25, 2024.
• Applications not meeting specified requirements will not be entertained.
• No in-person or email submissions are required; no application fee is required.
• The testing agency will communicate with shortlisted candidates through SMS and admit cards.

Selection Procedure:

• Shortlisted candidates will undergo written tests and subsequent selection processes.
• Further evaluations include group discussions, psychometric testing, and panel interviews.
• Original documents, a certificate (for foreign qualifications), a domicile, and a CNIC are required.
• Disqualification for candidates attempting to influence the process or providing false information.

Pre-Induction Training:

• Successful candidates will undergo Applied Focused Theoretical Training (residential) at the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF), Islamabad.
• The completion of training leads to an appointment as Assistant Director (OG-2) at SBP, Karachi.

Compensation Package:

• Monthly stipend of Rs. 41,000 during the training period.
• Upon successful completion, appointment as Statistical Officer (OG-2) with a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 82,000 and additional benefits as per bank rules.
